“We are writing this note in order to highly recommend the services of Jim Cookfair for wedding photography. My husband and I were married on June 21, 2008 and hired Jim for a full day of services. We were extremely selective with whom we chose to document this very important day. To us, as a couple, we knew that the experience of the whole day would pass by so quickly and unfortunately our window to the day's events would be through a narrow window. We wanted someone who could not only document our joy of this amazing day, but also allow us to see those special moments that occurred when we weren't looking. Jim did such a fantastic job of this. It was not at all in an invasive manner and felt totally natural to my husband and I and more importantly all of our guests. Jim's work is impeccable and he is such a wonderful person to work with as his positive attitude and love for what he does becomes infective to those around him.
Not only were we thoroughly impressed with the ease at which shot our wedding day, and his amazing attention to detail, but working with Jim leading up to and after our wedding has been a pleasure. You receive amazing photographs and absolutely no pressure. There are so many people that come with "strings attached" and this was not the case at all with Jim. What you see is not in fact what you get because you get so much more than what you could wish for. He did not apply any pressure to us in the selection process of our album and has a wonderful vision on who we are and what we were looking for. I am the first of three sisters to get married, and I will be sure that when it is time for the rest of my family to make some choices for their own wedding I would insist on them using Jim. He will forever be an important part of that special day and could not be any better at what he does.
You would be able to consider yourself lucky to choose Jim for your wedding as you will get so much more that you could have ever hoped for...ease, focus, dedication, perfection and joy. He has been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to having the opportunity to do it again some day.”
